Budget travel packages in western Europe?

Written by admin on February 27th, 2009

I am looking for some budget travel options that include B&B as well.

I am interested in seeing Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris and Germany.

Any ideas?

You should really consider the city Brugge. Its in Belguim, about an hour from Brussels. Very nice there. I would also highly reccomend Barcelona in Spain!

Do it yourself.
Go to one of the many hotel and hostel booking sites, enter the name of the town and the date you will be there, you can select other things like including breakfast or just B&B places in most.
Get a good guidebook and read it and buy a train ticket, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, and on to Germany and a railpass if for Germany if you want to travel much there.
Or just select a few cities and see where you get when you just book single tickets.

The Lonely Planet guidebooks are pretty good, helping you with practical things and with information on sightseeing and so on.

I travel often, in Europe and farther from home, I would not go with a packet tour in what is the easiest part of the world to travel. (Hourly trains between Amsterdam and Brussels, almost as often on to Paris and Germany next door.)
Every body speaks English, at least in tourist industry,
